Stone Forest scenic spot is located in Lunan county where is 100 kilometers away from Kunming city of Yunnan province, China. There is a place that formed by karst geomorphology. It totally covers an area of about 400 square kilometers and very famous in China. The karst geomorphology is actually caused by the limestone on the earth. When limestone was melt by water, deposit, carving-in or accumulate, time after time, the earth form this special scenic.

The wild and the thick of Stone Forest is rare in the world and have a high landscape value. This place having a spring all year round and there are also many developed scenic spot such as Jiuxiang, Alu ancient cave and Bailong cave around. It’s a good place for holiday and traveling. In 1982, Stone Forest was designated by the State Council as being among China’s foremost protected scenic spots.
